A New Puller 10-30-2022
Переглядів 155Рік тому
I made this puller to uproot big weeds and small trees. I used mostly scraps and materials I had on hand. I spent less than $25 on it.
What's that knocking sound?
Переглядів 317Рік тому
My 1915 runabout ran normally when I shut it off. But the next time I started it there was a definite knock because of some maintenance I did. The fix was simple.
1915 Ford auxiliary lights

This Model T is for go, not show, and is used for daily pleasure driving and for travel. So one of my winter projects has been adding the tail lights, brake lights, and turn signals other drivers expect to see.

Somehow fresh popcorn seems especially good on a winter evening.

ICE STORM October 27, 2020
Переглядів 2043 роки тому
Late October is early for this sort of thing. Freezing rain collects and gets heavy, bringing down branches and power lines. Tonight's outage lasted several hours.
Mowing 6 1 2020
Переглядів 3544 роки тому
Mowing day. My mowing tractor is a 1945 Allis Chalmers Model B with a Woods L-59 mower. At $125 that mower was one of the wisest purchases I ever made.
Loose triple gear

When the transmission suffered a broken drum I opened it up and found this wobbly gear as well.
Model T Cold Start
Переглядів 4,7 тис.4 роки тому
The thermometer says 30º, but it's really a few degrees colder. This start takes four chokes and five pulls. The start with cold oil requires one wheel off the ground and the parking brake off. But the point of this exercise is to show how fast you need to "spin" a T to start it. Note how"fast" I pull the crank.
Big Boy 11 17 2019

This morning I drove over to Coffeyville to see the Big Boy. After it took off I followed it all the way to Yates Center to get some shots of it moving.
Just happened upon this video. Nice to know Steve has recovered from his accident. Hope he can get another 1915 T. Maybe we need to do a Go Fund Me for him.

Hi! How has life been for you? Cant wait for a new upload.
This is what you tube should be used for. Excellent thanks
It is good to see someone who knows how to properly grasp the starter crank on a Model T. I have heard too many stories of people being injured while trying to start one.
Showed my wife the rope "chains" and she loved them! We hope to have a T as nice as this one day.
Nice to see this video. Steve is out of the hospital from his crash three months ago .. but the car in this video is a total wreck. Thank God he is on the mend.
Update on Steve?
Great work! How much would that restoration of cost if you did it as a business?
Nice job filming. The multiple shots take a lot of time. Subscribed to your channel. keep them coming
I just did one I free handed the letters, then the next I masked them the best I could. They only look acceptable in pictures or at a distance. Your letters look really good.
Wow.❤ I replaced six from each wheel. And went to Hershey for tires and rims.i was out 1/2 degree and used epoxy .drilling for those carage bolts wasn't soon enouph😅.❤
What kind of add on air breather is that on your car, or is it self made.
Generic air filter from O'Reilly, about $20.
Ya got a sick duck in that can?
That's why so many people bought mechanical horns for their 15-16 Fords. ua-cam.com/video/MHZCpzrsdEA/v-deo.html
Cool 😎 👍
Very cool 😎 to see the T out driving 👍
yeah can qa
I love that old truck
When I lived in base housing at 29 Palms, CA, back in the early '80's, I used the sand there from the desert and filtered it just as you did in this video. No issues then with using that sand or clogs. I used a Harbor Freight sandblaster and if it ever clogged up on me, I would just shake it a bit and all was good. I used the same when I was blasting my frame on my '30 two door Model A when we lived in Arlington, Tx. in the early '90's. I didn't think of using the air setup as you do in the video, and it really was hot under my hood. ;-)
That is a great railroad potbelly wood stove. Really ornate. What brand and year is it? I have a modern Pleasant Hearth Franklin-type that works great. Thanks for posting the video.
"118 OAK" is embossed above the door. From what I've found on the internet (not much) apparently it was made by the Peninsular Stove Company of Detroit, which was a major center of stove manufacture. I saw a couple of examples of this model for sale, but no history on it.
Awesome to see such a classic still being used for work!
I wondered what you have been up too. Happy New Year!
Sounds like a tuneup is in order.
Lavadoras de las buenas
beautiful!
What a beautiful model t.
That washer had good roll over action ! 😊
Nice build quality. I have a somewhat similar, in theory, weed puller made by Fiskars but it is so cheaply made it doesn't hold up to use. My first one broke and was replaced under warranty. Their solution with the second gen replacement was to have it release it's grip when under too much pressure... basically they ruined it. The newer one can't pull much because of it releases too soon.
Un sabio dijo, “dadme una palanca y moveré el mundo” he aquí una muestra👏🤷♂️👍👏
I was wondering what you were building over the last several days. Clever device.
Sis is very upset that you kealed over. 🤷♂️.
It does a good job
100th anniversary of that car 1915-2015 😊😊😊
Hello From Ontario Canada. I would like to have 4 spoked rims made for my 1914 Modal T. could you asist me with this ? Regards Bob
I can refer you. 1914 wheels have wood felloes. You want an actual wheelwright for that job. Anderson’s Wooden Wheels Dale Anderson - Owner-Operator Box 1433, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan Canada S6V 5S9 Phone (306) 763-4049 Fax (306) 763-4018 dale@anderprop.com www.anderprop.com/ww_index.html
Well done Steve! :)
This guy gonna get sick very soon, he needs use a pressure feed helmet with a neck collar, and at least cheapy gloves.
It would be nice to know what model year this Ford Model TT is. It looks like a 1922?
I've allways wanted one of these beautiful cars, not modified or turned into a hot rod. Just a stock standard modle T, simplicity and reliability at its finest.
Looks great to me . Nice work.
Very good your youtube channel waiting to see more new videos I hope you are well
What city are you in?

@@aqfarn thank you I hope that I can see your cars in person someday
Message me on Facebook if you get to this part of Kansas. :>)
@@aqfarn thank you and what’s your Facebook?
Beautiful work. A true artist. Soooo.... How much you charge to restore a washington state 1976 plate? ☺
Hi, What do you mean by cooked? Do you put the plate in the oven? 🤔
Thanks for the video. Any idea on what to use or do if the plate (1976) requires the reflective material on it?
Nope. No experience with anything that modern.
Great job! But you know up until around 1975, prisoners cranked out about 4 thousand plates a day in Florida.
Just found your channel and all I can say is WOW !! I've been binge watching all your old videos, they're amazing. I love the simple ways/ simple life. Thanks for sharing. You now have a new subscriber
That should make your trip to Michigan a lot safer. How to you keep your battery charged up?
